Community Guidelines

Last updated: August 13, 2026

BeadsHub is meant to be a friendly place for sharing bead patterns, making notes, and finished craft projects. These guidelines apply to public patterns, titles, descriptions, tags, comments, remixes, makes, and other content you submit to BeadsHub.

What you may share

You are welcome to share:

  • Bead patterns, pixel art, project photos, and instructions you created or have the right to use.
  • Clear and accurate titles, tags, and descriptions that help other makers.
  • Making steps, palette suggestions, printing notes, ironing tips, and material substitutions.
  • Kind comments, questions, feedback, and improvement ideas.

Before publishing content publicly, make sure you have the rights needed to display it, allow downloads, share it, or allow others to remix it.

What is not allowed

Please do not publish:

  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
  • Adult sexual content, child exploitation, graphic violence, hate, harassment, threats, or discriminatory content.
  • Dangerous making instructions, misleading safety advice, or content encouraging children to use irons, sharp tools, or small bead materials without adult supervision.
  • Spam, malicious links, scams, phishing, bulk duplicate patterns, or content created mainly to manipulate search rankings.
  • Impersonation or false claims of association with a brand, platform, rights holder, or another person.

Titles, tags, and descriptions

Titles and descriptions should help users understand the pattern and how to make it. Avoid keyword stuffing, meaningless numeric titles, misleading brand terms, or copying the same description across many pattern pages. Useful pattern descriptions often include size, colors, bead count, intended maker level, difficulty, or use case.

Reporting and review

If you see infringing, unsafe, inappropriate, or otherwise rule-breaking patterns, comments, or account behavior, report it through our contact page. Please include the page URL and a short explanation. We may hide content, restrict downloads, request edits, remove comments, limit account features, or suspend accounts in serious cases.

Repeat violations

Users who repeatedly publish infringing, spammy, unsafe, or malicious content may lose access to publishing, comments, downloads, remixing, or account features. We consider the number of violations, content impact, user response, and platform risk.
