Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Welcome to BeadsHub. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, how we protect it, and how you can manage your data.

Scope

This policy applies to the BeadsHub website, image-to-bead-pattern maker, pattern gallery, account features, and related services. By using BeadsHub, you understand that we process information as described here.

Information We Process

We try to collect only what we need to provide the service. This may include:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, login method, avatar, language preference, account status, and session information.
  • Authentication information. If you use a password, magic link, Google login, passkey, or two-factor authentication, the relevant authentication systems process data needed to sign you in. We do not store your password in plain text.
  • Pattern content. When you save or publish a bead pattern, we store details such as the title, description, tags, visibility, dimensions, bead count, palette, color usage, pattern matrix, download settings, remix/embed settings, and other pattern information you choose to save.
  • Image processing information. Source images uploaded in the maker are primarily processed locally in your browser. When you save a pattern, we store the generated pattern data and may store the source file name, but we do not upload the original image file merely to save the pattern.
  • Interaction data, such as likes, favorites, downloads, public pattern views, comments, or other community activity.
  • Contact information, such as your email address, name, message, and follow-up communication when you contact us.
  • Device and usage information, such as pages visited, referrers, browser type, device information, approximate region, error logs, IP address, and security event information.
  • Local data. Maker drafts, preferences, and temporary workspace state may be stored in your browser localStorage so you can restore your work.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide image-to-bead-pattern conversion, PDF export, pattern saving, gallery, and download features.
  • Create, protect, and maintain your account and login sessions.
  • Display public, unlisted, or private patterns according to the visibility you choose.
  • Let you edit, delete, favorite, like, remix, or download patterns.
  • Respond to questions, handle support requests, and send necessary service notices.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve the product.
  • Generate aggregated usage analytics so we can understand which pages and features need improvement.
  • Comply with applicable law, enforce our Terms, and protect users and the service.

Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

BeadsHub uses necessary cookies to maintain login sessions, remember language preferences, and store your cookie choice. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics tools such as Vercel Analytics to understand aggregated traffic. Analytics tools may receive page, device, browser, and approximate region information. We do not sell your personal information.

We may use advertising services such as Google AdSense to show ads. Google and advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, ad measurement, and, where applicable, personalized or non-personalized advertising. We do not intentionally send directly identifying personal information, such as email addresses or phone numbers, in ad requests. You can manage related preferences through your browser settings, cookie consent settings, or Google ad settings.

The maker may store drafts and preferences in your browser. You can clear cookies, site data, and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing them may remove your login session, language preference, or unsaved drafts.

Public Content

If you make a pattern public, others may view, browse, download, favorite, like, or remix it. Public content may be indexed by search engines and may appear on the home page, gallery, recommendation areas, or shared links.

If you do not want content to be public, choose private or unlisted visibility, or delete previously published content. After deletion, search engines or third-party caches may retain older copies for some time.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to operate BeadsHub, including:

  • Authentication and OAuth providers, such as Google login.
  • Email providers for verification emails, login links, password resets, and service notices.
  • Hosting, database, logging, storage, and debugging providers.
  • Payment providers if we offer paid features or points purchases.
  • Analytics providers such as Vercel Analytics.
  • Advertising providers such as Google AdSense.

These services should process data only as needed to provide, protect, analyze, or improve BeadsHub, and they are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete your patterns or account. After deletion, some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, or legally required retention records.

Browser drafts and preferences are stored on your device unless you clear site data or change devices.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, logging, and security configuration. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use strong credentials, protect your login methods, and contact us if you notice suspicious activity.

You can:

  • Update your account profile, language preference, and pattern information.
  • Change pattern visibility or delete patterns you no longer want to keep.
  • Clear browser cookies, local storage, and maker drafts.
  • Opt out of non-essential notifications.
  • Request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information associated with you.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, depending on applicable law.

If you are located in certain regions, such as the European Union, United Kingdom, California, or other places with data subject rights, you may have additional rights. We will handle requests according to applicable law.

Children's Privacy

BeadsHub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

International Use

BeadsHub may be accessed from different regions. Your information may be processed on servers, by service providers, or by partners located outside your region. We use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through page updates, in-product notices, or other reasonable means. Continuing to use BeadsHub means you understand the updated policy.
