Copyright and Takedown Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

BeadsHub respects the rights of creators, brands, and other rights holders. We also expect users to share only pattern files, descriptions, images, comments, and project photos that they have the right to use.

What users may upload

You may upload, convert, save, or publish:

  • Images, bead patterns, descriptions, and project photos you created yourself.
  • Materials you are licensed or otherwise legally allowed to use.
  • Public domain materials, or materials that clearly allow the way you are adapting and sharing them.
  • Your own craft results and making notes.

Please do not upload or publish movie, anime, game, brand, logo, product, illustration, photo, third-party pattern, tutorial screenshot, or other protected material unless you have the rights needed for that use. Giving credit, leaving a watermark, or saying "for learning only" or "non-commercial" does not by itself create permission.

How rights holders can request removal

If you believe content on BeadsHub infringes your copyright or other rights, please send a request through our contact page and include as much of the following as possible:

  • Your name, company or representative role, and a reply email.
  • The exact URL of the content you are reporting.
  • A description of the work or material you claim rights in.
  • Why you believe the content is unauthorized.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.

After receiving a request, we will review it as soon as reasonably possible. We may remove the content, restrict downloads, hide the pattern, ask the uploader for more information, or take other reasonable action. Requests missing key information may need clarification before we can act.

Repeat infringement

If a user repeatedly uploads or publishes clearly infringing content, we may limit publishing, downloads, remixing, comments, or account features. In serious cases, we may suspend or terminate the account. We consider complaint history, the nature of the content, the user's response, and platform safety risk.

Reporting unsafe or inappropriate content

If you see unsafe, adult, hateful, harassing, malicious, deceptive, spammy, or otherwise inappropriate patterns or comments, you can report them through our contact page. Please include the page URL and a short explanation so we can find it quickly.

Counter notices and mistaken removals

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact us through the contact page with an explanation and any basis for your right to use the content. We will review the available information, but we cannot provide legal advice or guarantee restoration.
